The Perfectly Imperfect Home

This is my new favourite book! Domino was my old favourite but I actually like this one better. It is called The Perfectly Imperfect Home by Deborah Needleman. If living in the book was an option then sign me up! Classic pieces & style advice. . . makes you want to toss all that 'frenchy rustic' white & beige & embrace colour, pattern and texture with gay abandon.

Here are some well styled presents Henry & I painted & ribboned yesterday. Mine is way nicer than Henry's would't you say!? I do appreciate his attempt at art though.

And here is my lamp standing tall while I work out which fabric to use!

Things are looking up today. Alice (7 weeks) has been late night partying all weekend and is now sleeping soundly. I used to do this too . .. but I was 21, it was at the Caxton & a slice of New York Pizza was always involved!

Meanwhile . . .what are you doing for Mother's Day?  I think we're working on a stylish picnic. Something like this I hope!

Pyjama Party

Quick post today after a busy weekend!

On Saturday I went to a fabulous Pyjama Party hosted by Ivy & Piper, where they showcased a new range of Pyjamas by Jasmine & Will.

We nibbled on delicious goodies and sipped champagne served by the boys in their designer sleepwear! It was lots of fun!

I must admit I am so slow to pass these on . . . gosh . . . reminds me of the old days when I used to get those chain letters in the mail . . .I'd handwrite 20 letters and send . . . . I vaguely remember even sending a pair of new knickers in the post (the chain assured me I'd get 20 in return!) yeh right.
