Reminiscing today . . .

It has been a very quiet day at home today and I've been sorting and cleaning up my photos on my hard drive . . . clearly I underestimated the enormity of this job!

Anyway, I came across a link I'd saved 4 years ago with our wedding photos taken by CK MetroPhotos and posted on Green Wedding Shoes Blog. I love the way she has layered photos together, totally on my 'skills to learn' list for 2014.

I've posted these images of our wedding day before so sorry for doubling up . . . I just love the way a beautiful image engages the senses.

I can remember feeling so proud walking down the aisle next to Dad; I remember Mum's house smelling so beautiful full of flowers; I remember thinking Tim wore just the right amount of cologne as we met at the alter; I remember feeling happy watching the groomsmen play croquet; I remember overwhelming love for my best friends as they posed for endless photos all morning; I remember fighting back tears while Dad's band played; I remember feeling grateful that Mum made 240 fabric napkins; I remember laughing so hard at our MC.

I guess this is the power of images and why it is so lovely to take them and keep them.

Our first dance was to 'The Luckiest' by Ben Folds and 4 years + 2 children later .. I do feel lucky.

Now . . . back to the My Pictures Folder.

Happy Friday!

Love Tina xo
