Alice's First Birthday Party

I'm thrilled with Alice's 1st Birthday Party photos!
It was a really hot day and we'd planned to have the party outside on the grass. By 10 O'Clock the heat was unbearable- far too hot for the little kids and babies, not to mention the cream cheese cake icing!

So we moved it all inside and it was great chatting and watching the little kids while they were playing.

The colour scheme was based around the invitation and then I added lots of props to keep it interesting and fun.
Alice's outfit and sun hat was made by Catherine at Chip + Bunny.
The cake was 2 tiers of delicious red velvet and made by Stacey Resetti.
The incredible photos by Emily Archbald Photography.
I love the photo of Alice and her pretty brunette godmothers. I'm comfortable that when Alice is older and she asks Leah and Renee if she should put that sun in stuff in her hair . . . .I know they'll both independently say no!
PS. I wish we had fairy floss more often!
Happy 1st Birthday little Alice

Bridal Shower for Josephine

Here are some photos of the Bridal Shower I styled in March. The mint, various pinks and soft orange and yellow colours looked really lovely on the day.

The cameo bow lapel pins were for the bride and bridesmaids to wear. Inside the favor boxes were heart shaped truffles with little cut out perfume bottles as tags. The stripey straws with the dancing ladies and the invites all matched perfectly. The petite sweets were delicious and the cake and flowers divine!

The bride to be looked so pretty and her Mum did such a wonderful job.

I can't wait to see the wedding!
